It will not play new Blue Ray DVDs–reads but then hangs up. It won’t even eject or turn off. I had to unplug it and restart before it would even eject. Still plays older blue rays and regular dvds.

Ok here is the deal, i just bought a sharp blu ray player and i thought everything would be great, 1080p and all, but when i go to change the settings on the hdmi output of the player to 1080 p i get the error message “this setting is not possible because the connected equipmentdoes not correspond to this format” why is it doing this? what does it mean? and HOW DO I FIX IT I WANT 1080 p. Also i have a sharp aqos, you know the tv that this blu ray player was supposedbly designed for? THANKS!

My Sharp Blu Ray player (only 2 months old!) plays other Blu Ray discs but refuses to play a brand new Blu Ray disc that I bought (movie:Australia) It takes 3 minutes to read the disc and than says “finished reading” and nothing ever happens!!! Help?
