| This is a standard HDMI cable and it WILL NOT plug into a Wii. And Wii does not produce anything beyond 480 so the detail product info for this item is also wrong. |

Not at all what I was looking for

| I needed a wire to connect my new laptop computer with an HDMI output to my old TV with Red, Yellow & White input. This wire had both of those connectors, plus an additional piece (looked like a printer connector; you can see it in the picture) that didn't fit anywhere. I saw it in the picture, but I hoped it was just an optional connection. I don't know what it is for, but bottom line, the wire didn't work, so I returned it. I gave the wire 3 stars, as I believe there is nothing wrong with it, just not what I needed. |

| Even though the HMDI and the VGA cable connected to my devices properly, the functionality of the cable did not work properly. I intended to use the cable to connect the HMDI device to my laptop and to connect to my DVD device with the VGA connectors, in order to display the contents of my laptop on to the TV screen. I was informed by a technician that this cable would work but it didn't. I was later told that both of my devices had to be digital in order for the device to work properly. Whatever the case, the cable did not work properly. |
Digital to Analog Conversion is Impossible in a Wire

I can't believe how naive i was when i bought this. Think about it. HDMI is Digital, RCA is analog... There is no conversion box in between the 2 ends. There is NO WAY this cord can work. I purchased it and tried, until i wised up and got some common sense. I plan on removing the cover to see how the seller spliced the wires together.
Again, to sum it up in one word..... Impossible.... |
